What is Bella Vita?
Bella Vita Pregnancy Resource is an interdenominational ministry in Starke County that offers help to women in crisis pregnancy situations by providing free pregnancy tests, peer counseling, information, and support...all in full confidentiality. Classes are also offered to expectant mothers of all ages that cover topics from pregnancy through parenting. Girls can also earn baby clothes, maternity clothes, and other baby related goods by attending classes, as well as receive free baby food and formula. Fathers of the babies also receive parenting instruction and help as needed.
How can you help? Bella Vita is always accepting donations of like-new baby clothes and furniture, maternity clothes, toys, and books. Volunteers are also needed to work at their center. They do anything from sorting donations to teaching classes and counseling girls.
